Synaptic AS is a Norwegian based company that started out from a freelance community back in 1999. The mission of the community was to share and exchange research and knowledge with each other and help each other regarding various custom project deliverables. Today the partner network counts over 200 first class IT specialists in Scandinavia, and over 4000 senior IT consultants worldwide. 

 
In December 2009 the spin-out company Synaptic Technologies AS (STAS) was established by key member Paal Kristian Levang. STAS offers today a private backbone system of real time data exchange for our partners. Helping them achieve their goal to become a quality provider of future Internet-of-things services. By august 2012 STAS is about to release our first version of RealTimeWeb. RTW will be one of the first worldwide RealTimeWeb data linking system that will provide an open platform for everybody to share and exchange machine read/write -able data on web.
